Ensembles

Symphonic Band:

The symphonic band is the primary performing organization in the instrumental music department during winter and spring. Membership is by audition only. The symphonic band is comprised of students with the performing ability necessary to play grade 5 and 6 literature.

Concert Band:

The concert band is comprised of students in the 9th grade with the performing ability necessary to perform grade 3 and 4 literature.

Percussion Ensemble:

The percussion ensemble is offered to all students grade 9-12 with at least 2 years of prior band experience. Members of this class will join the other units of the band program for concerts, festivals, parades and various performances.

Color Guard & Winter Guard:

Contact the director for information about color guard and winter guard.

Marching Band:

Membership in the marching band requires commitment to all rehearsals and performances. All students enrolled in the band program are required to march with the exception of students outside of the program, who are eligible to audition for the dance team. The marching band performs in local parades and at all football/basketball games.

Jazz Bands:

The jazz band and jazz ensembles play for community events, concerts, and performs throughout the school year. Membership is by audition only.
